Introduction
I wrote this song at the end of a long, exhausting day, feeling drained and worn down. It captures the weight of fatigue and the need to retreat, even if just for a moment.

[Verse 1]
Pull the blankets over my head,
Block out the noise, the words left unsaid.
The world is spinning, yet somehow, I stand still.
Falling deeper, against my will.
[Pre-Chorus]
They say, “Hold on, it gets better.”
But what if I’m too tired to try?
I don’t need a silver lining,
Just a place where I can hide.
[Chorus]
Let me be lost under the covers,
Let me fade into the night.
I don’t wanna talk, I don’t need saving,
I just need to close my eyes.
Don’t pull me out, don’t shine the light,
Just let me breathe here for a while.
[Verse 2]
Footsteps echo down the hall,
Voices calling, but I don’t respond.
Heavy hands, a hollow chest,
I’ve given all I have—there’s nothing left.
[Pre-Chorus]
They say, “Just fight, just keep believing.”
But what if I’m too numb to care?
I don’t need a happy ending,
Just a space where I’m not scared.
[Chorus]
Let me be lost under the covers,
Let me fade into the night.
I don’t wanna talk, I don’t need saving,
I just need to close my eyes.
Don’t pull me out, don’t shine the light,
Just let me breathe here for a while.
[Bridge]
And maybe one day, I’ll reach for the sun,
Maybe one day, I won’t have to run.
But not today, no, not tonight,
For now, just let me hide.
[Outro]
So let me be lost under the covers,
Till the storm fades in my mind.
Maybe tomorrow, I’ll find the strength,
But tonight, just let me hide.
